Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly becoming more prevalent in the world of marketing, with a recent study showing that as many as 96% of marketers are either planning to use or already using some form of AI in their work. This study, conducted by SOCi Inc., reveals that only 4% of respondents have no plans for AI utilization.
Key Applications of AI
The research surveyed 317 digital marketers in the United States, including 55% decision-makers. The most commonly used applications of AI are chatbots and targeted advertising, with nearly half of the respondents utilizing these tools to achieve personalized, real-time, and efficient marketing strategies.
Acceptance Rate of AI
One-third of the respondents (36%) consider the adoption rate of AI in their workplace to be appropriate. Another third (32%) feels positively about the adoption pace but would prefer it to slow down a bit. A quarter of the respondents (25%) remain neutral regarding the pace, while 7% stated that the company is not moving fast enough in implementing AI technology.
Trust in AI Support
Another study conducted by Calendly, a meeting scheduling and managing platform, reveals that 57% of sales and marketing professionals have yet to use AI, but 69% of them are moderately interested in its implementation.
AI plays a significant role in marketing, and an increasing number of marketers recognize its importance. Embracing AI allows marketers to achieve personalized and efficient communication with their target audience, but the adoption pace is not yet unanimous. Those who adapt and understand the role and potential of AI will be better positioned for success than those who do not.
