Samsung predstavlja revolucionarni transparentni microLED ekran

Samsung recently showcased its groundbreaking Transparent microLED display at CES 2024. This technology marks the world’s first display of its kind and looks incredibly impressive. Although Samsung has not yet disclosed the availability of this screen in retail, its innovation definitely deserves attention.

The Transparent microLED display comes in three options with different designs. Two out of the three devices feature tinted glass, allowing users to focus on the content on the screen while disregarding the objects behind the panel that could potentially distract them. The third device is completely transparent, resembling ordinary glass but without the frame.

Describing this screen is a challenge, as it creates the illusion of a floating hologram in the air. According to Engadget, who had the opportunity to experience this technology, each screen is self-contained and extremely thin, further enhancing the illusion.

The Transparent microLED display boasts high pixel density, resulting in incredibly sharp images. Additionally, due to its higher brightness compared to conventional OLED panels, these screens are less susceptible to ambient light interference.

Unfortunately, these displays are currently very expensive. Samsung’s “regular” 110-inch microLED TVs cost around $150,000. However, the promising advancement represented by the Transparent microLED display is encouraging, even if it is currently inaccessible to a wider audience.
