Razer, the renowned gaming company, has announced the arrival of two new Blade laptops that will be showcased at the upcoming CES 2024 technology trade show in Las Vegas. These two laptops, namely the Razer Blade 16 and Razer Blade 18, come equipped with impressive OLED displays that promise an unforgettable experience for users.
The new Razer Blade 16 will be the world’s first laptop to feature a 16-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. This display is the result of a collaboration with Samsung Display and offers a high QHD+ resolution, fast refresh rate, and a remarkable response time of 0.2 ms. Additionally, the display holds a VESA ClearMR 11000 certification, guaranteeing sharp imagery and minimal motion blur. With a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, gaming enthusiasts can expect top-notch visual quality.
On the other hand, the Razer Blade 18 will boast an 18-inch 4K OLED display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz. This particular display will feature a response time of 3 ms and support for Nvidia G-Sync technology. Razer claims that this screen covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum, ensuring vibrant and richly colored images.
Both laptops are constructed using high-quality CNC aluminum “unibody” designs, and they sport a 16:10 aspect ratio. Moreover, they feature ultra-thin bezels, offering an impressive screen-to-body ratio of up to 89%.
More details regarding the specifications of these laptops will be revealed between January 9th and 12th during the CES 2024 technology trade show. It’s worth noting that Razer Blade laptops have already obtained the Calman certification for color accuracy, further solidifying their reputation for delivering exceptional quality.
