PlayStation 5: Revolucionarna Prekretnica u Svetu Prenosivog Gejminga

In the realm of technological innovation, a famous YouTuber known as DIY Perks surprised the gaming community with his latest project – transforming the PlayStation 5 console into a tablet and naming it PlayStation 5: Tablet Edition.

This transformation opens up new possibilities for portable gaming, joining the success of the Nintendo Switch console. Sony, aware of the popularity of portable gaming, has decided not to lag behind the competition.

DIY Perks conducted a revolutionary transformation by disassembling the PS5 Slim console and extracting key components to create a completely new portable system. The crucial factor for this project was the redesign that Sony introduced last year, as the motherboard was significantly smaller than in the original version.

Although more compact, the PS5 Slim console is still too large for portable gaming. Taking into account the size difference between the console itself and the 4K OLED laptop screen, the YouTuber designed some parts to make everything work in a smaller casing.

One of the biggest challenges was finding a solution for efficient cooling. DIY Perks implemented their own cooling system, significantly smaller than the original, but with the same capacity. After several steps and challenges, the concept finally came to life in a 3D-printed case.

This unofficial version of the PlayStation 5 console is fascinating, allowing an exceptional gaming experience with popular titles such as Rocket League, Horizon Forbidden West, and Astro’s Playroom on a tablet-sized screen.

Most interestingly, this project is not budget-intensive, and according to DIY Perks, Sony could potentially sell PlayStation 5 tablets at almost the same or slightly higher price as the original console.
