Samsung is gearing up to unveil its latest series of smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S24, at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in San Jose, California on January 17. Alongside the new phones, the event will also showcase the Galaxy AI technology, leveraging Samsung’s artificial intelligence capabilities.
The Galaxy Unpacked event will kick off at 10:00 AM Pacific Time, which translates to 7:00 PM Central European Time used in Serbia. While insider sources have already revealed a lot of information about the new phones, there is still anticipation for some surprises.
The new Samsung Galaxy S24 series will retain a similar design to its predecessor but will now feature mostly flat screens instead of curved ones. The phones will be accompanied by the new One UI 6.1 user interface, enriched with artificial intelligence and based on the Android 14 operating system.
The Galaxy S24 phones will introduce advanced AI technology, enhancing the night mode for photography, enabling live call translation, and bringing numerous software optimizations. The European versions of the phones are expected to come with the Exynos 2400 chip, while only the Ultra model will feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
The details about the cameras on the top-tier model, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, have been subject to much speculation. However, it now appears that the phone will retain its impressive zooming capabilities, including a 10x optical zoom with a periscope telephoto lens.
