Kepler predstavlja humanoidnog robota Forerunner na CES-u u Las Vegasu

Kepler, a leading robotics company, is set to unveil its state-of-the-art humanoid robot, Forerunner, at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. With advanced body movements, precise hand control, and sophisticated visual perception, Forerunner poses a serious competition to Tesla’s Optimus in the field of humanoid robotics.

The vision behind Forerunner is to enhance users’ productivity by introducing advanced technology, which could potentially lead to a reduced workweek of just three days. “This humanoid robot aims to empower individuals to dedicate more time to important endeavors, such as space exploration,” said Debo Hu, co-founder of Kepler.

Standing at 178 cm tall and weighing 85 kg, Forerunner is designed with a focus on mobility and object manipulation. Featuring 12 degrees of freedom, its smart and agile arms enable seamless movement and manipulation of heavy objects. Additionally, it is equipped with precise hand-eye coordination and intelligent interactive communication.

The robot relies on a set of sensors in its head that allow it to “perceive” the environment. Through a synthetic voice module and stereo speakers, Forerunner communicates with humans. All information gathered by the sensors is processed by the Nebula AI system, which helps the robot navigate challenging spaces and avoid obstacles.

Kepler has created a dedicated workspace for developers to collaborate and work on robotic projects. The company plans to release Forerunner robots to the market in the third quarter of this year, with an estimated price tag of around $30,000. Despite being pricier than Tesla’s Optimus, Kepler believes that the advanced capabilities of Forerunner justify the investment.
