Google Photos Introduces a New Innovative Feature for Creating Video Clips

Google Photos is a popular cloud-based platform for storing and organizing media content, but it offers users more than just simple storage. With various smart features such as automatic Memories and video creation tools, Google is now introducing another advanced capability – generative artificial intelligence (AI).

The new feature allows users to easily create video clips by selecting people who are tagged in their library. This is achieved by clicking the “+” button on the “Photos” tab in the Google Photos app. Users can then enter the name of the person they want to see in the video clip, and AI will automatically generate the appropriate material. Additionally, users can search by location or activity to quickly find relevant photos and video clips.

This new AI-powered functionality eliminates the need for manual material selection. Instead, Google Photos automatically finds and combines the best images and clips from the search and synchronizes them with music to create dynamic and engaging videos. After AI completes its part, users have the option to customize the video clips, trim or extend the clips, and even change the music.

In addition to new video clips, the “+” button on the “Photos” tab also allows for easy creation of other types of content, such as new albums, GIFs, collages, and Cinematic photos.

Google plans to make this innovative feature available to Android and iOS users by October 25th. However, as is often the case with new features, it may take a few weeks for some users to see it on their accounts.
