Apple predstavlja novu funkciju za zaštitu uređaja od krađe

Apple has recently introduced an update to its iOS operating system called 17.3, which brings a significant new security feature to protect devices from theft. The Stolen Device Protection feature offers an additional level of security to users who have fallen victim to iPhone theft.

When activated, the feature requires the use of Face ID or Touch ID to access saved passwords. Furthermore, it introduces a “security delay” for sensitive settings such as Apple ID or device passcodes. After biometric authentication, users must wait for an hour before a successful authentication is required again.

This new feature enhances the protection of user data in case of phone theft, ensuring that only authorized individuals can access sensitive information.

In addition to this significant security upgrade, the iOS 17.3 update also brings some other notable enhancements. Users will have the ability to create playlists with their friends through the updated Apple Music, as well as leave emoji reactions on songs. Additionally, the AirPlay feature now allows users to directly stream content from their iPhone to selected hotel televisions. Furthermore, there is an improved Crash Detection feature to enhance driving safety.

This update will be available for supported iPhone devices, as well as supported iPad devices with the iPadOS 17.3 update.

Apple continues to introduce innovative features that provide additional security and useful options for its users, contributing to an improved experience with Apple devices.
