Samsung enthusiasts eagerly await the arrival of the new flagship series every year. This year, all eyes are on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which is set to hit the market next month. The South Korean company expects that this model will attract customers with its innovative titanium construction.
According to a sales report of the Galaxy S23 series, which exceeded 25 million units worldwide, Samsung plans to deliver 35.2 million units of its new flagship line globally in 2024.
The unveiling is speculated to take place on January 17th, with pre-orders for the Galaxy S24 line expected to commence on the same day. The release date for the entire series – Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra – is scheduled for January 30th.
According to TheElec, Samsung’s market predictions suggest that consumers worldwide will purchase 13.5 million units of the Galaxy S24, 5.8 million units of the Galaxy S24+, and a whopping 15.9 million units of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. All these phones feature enhanced displays, with the Galaxy S24 Ultra sporting a panel that delivers a maximum brightness of 2600 nits. This series is also expected to come with new AI features.
The standout in this lineup is the Galaxy S24 Ultra with its titanium construction, 200MP rear camera, and the ability to shoot 8K videos with 5x optical zoom. It is also expected to introduce a new version of OneUI and its own artificial intelligence named Gauss.
The Galaxy S24 will use the Exynos 2400 chipset in most markets, while the American and Chinese markets will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 AP on all markets.
Samsung’s goal is to surprise the competition by releasing this series earlier. Will they succeed in delivering 35.2 million units of the Galaxy S24 series in 2024? We will find out next year.
