TCL, a leading electronic company, is introducing the groundbreaking NXTPAPER 3.0 display technology, designed to enhance users’ visual health. Unveiled at the prestigious CES 2024 event in Las Vegas, this new technology offers several improvements and features that guarantee an enhanced viewing experience.

One of the key features of the NXTPAPER 3.0 display is its ability to filter harmful blue light by up to 61%, while still maintaining sharp image quality. Filtering blue light is crucial in reducing eye strain caused by the use of electronic devices. Additionally, this type of display provides deep contrast, vibrant colors, and natural motion, further enhancing the visual experience.

To achieve these results, TCL has implemented CPL (Circularly Polarized Light) display technology. This technology simulates natural light through an “emission-reflection-refraction” process, creating an effect that resembles reading books under natural light. Thus, the CPL display is more comfortable for the eyes, mimicking the appearance of paper.

Apart from the display itself, the NXTPAPER software plays a significant role in preserving visual health. This software includes an eye care assistant that helps users develop healthy digital viewing habits. Additionally, it features a reminder for breaks during extended usage, as well as assisting users in adopting the popular “20-20-20” rule for eye care.

The new NXTPAPER 3.0 technology will be implemented across several devices, including the NXTPAPER 14 Pro tablet, TAB 10 NXTPAPER 5G tablet, and the series 50 smartphones. With the NXTPAPER 3.0 “three-in-one” VersaView UI user interface, optimized for various scenarios, users will be able to choose between low blue light display, paper-like reading mode, and black-and-white ink paper mode for a pleasant e-book reading experience.

Once again, TCL has reaffirmed its leadership in innovation within the electronics market, setting new standards for users’ visual health.
